Patricia lives in Kalongo, a small village in Acholi country, northern Uganda. In the shadow of Mount Oret, the mountain of the wind that dominates the village, Patricia learns every day to accompany new mothers through the physical pain of the boundless emotion of life. "Together with woman" is the meaning of her vocation; loving and joyfully serving others—this is what being a midwife means.
